How AROMASHAVE (tm) Works

We used to communicate by courier, by carrier pigeon, by pony express or by any of a dozen different methods. It used to take us months to cross the ocean, years to circumnavigate the globe, or travel from one coast to the other. Today we can carry on a conversation with someone on the moon and we can travel the whole way around the earth in less than a day. We can do this because of advancing technology.

For centuries we have shaved pretty much the same way. For centuries we have complained of razor burn. Technology has allowed us to transplant a heart from one person to another and allow that person to lead a meaningful life, but nobody seems to solve a simple problem like razor burn. It still plagues us today. We use all sorts of creams, balms and lotions to make our face, legs, bikini lines and underarms feel better after shaving. We’ve tried redesigning the razor, the lather and everything else, but we still get razor burn.

"If you always do what you’ve always done,
you’ll always get what you’ve always got."

Eco-Logics has taken a different approach to the problem with AromaShave. Why do we get razor burn in the first place? The skin has an acid mantle that is in the range of 4.5 to 5.5 with the underarms and groin in the neutral, or 7.0 range. When we shave we wash the area first with soap (8.0 to 10.3 in the alkaline range) then we put shave cream (more soap) on the area and attack it with the sharpest thing known to man, the razor blade, then complain about razor burn.

The purpose of the acid mantle is to maintain a slightly acidic condition on the skin to prevent the invasion of pathogenic bacteria. Sort of a first line defense against infection and disease. The soap destroys the acid mantle; the razor makes microscopic cuts in the skin sending an engraved invitation to germs to join the party. Thus, razor burn!

AromaShave, by Eco-Logics restores the acid mantle after washing with soap, removes the need for lather by providing better lubrication, and improves visibility of the area to be shaved by eliminating the lather. It also augments the acid mantle with antiseptics, astringents, antiflogistics, cicatricants, and vulneraries as well as an expectorant to open the sinuses and skin tonics to leave the skin soft and supple. It’s so revolutionary that people have to forget everything they have ever believed about shaving and start fresh. AromaShave is to shaving what the microprocessor is to communications.

*One bottle of AromaShave (tm) should last one full year when used according to directions.
